Finally finished a video with all the pictures I have from my friends in London… I wanted to make such a video ever since I got back but didn’t have the right software (pictures looked horrible after encoding) or the time (with starting school and everything else)…
And I also have to say sorry that I didn’t write much more… I’m really trying but I don’t...

Back again (and yes; double meaning ;-)
*yawn* WOW
HUH?!
What happend?
Did I fall through a black hole? Did I meet the Doctor?! ;-)
Was there kind of a problem with the space-time continuum?

It’s unbelievable - I waited so long to go to London, and now - with the snap of a finger - the hole 18 days are over.
AND IT WAS BETTER THAN I EVER THOUGHT
I had a great time, I met great new...

The Three Investigators
I know it’s a a kids’ book series. I know it’s advertising. But momently amazon is offering each of the 131 audiobooks for 3.99€ in Germany and I have to say I just LOVED the books and still enjoy them from time to time. So I couldn’t resist to buy at least one (for now *grin*)
More about the series (on Wikipedia).

iPhone-App: Urbanspoon
As I already wrote I never go anywhere without my iPhone. So I looked for some usefull applications and found Urbanspoon. It’s a service for finding, choosing and recommanding restaurants. It works best in the US, but also works in Canada and England.
After you start the App it tries to locate you via mobile coverage or GPS. Then it either asks you to choose a Location or it starts with...

BIT: Saturday 9th July 2005
After driving through all night we arrived back home at 8 o’clock am on Saturday. It was just great despite the things we didn’t expect.
I have to say I myself fell in love with the city and the people instantly. And that’s one of the main reasons for doing all this :D

After the situation and ourselfs had cooled down a little bit, we decided we would continue as planned. We (shopped, no - more correctly) looked at all the stuff in Harrods and then went for a boat trip on the Themes. After that we finished with the program and started heading home again…

BIT: Thursday 7th July 2005
We went to the British Natural History Museum around 9:30 and saw a lot of interessting exhibits. Then suddenly around 10:15 the hole museum was full of security personal and it took us a while to realize that something truly terrible must have happend. When the mobile networks finally started working again we got the horrible news about the bombings in Central London and where shocked as...

In the morning we visited Windsor Castle and watched the Change of Guards. After that went shopping in Oxford Street and the Hard Rock Café. (Well, some of us got lost and spent the rest of the Day searching each other… :-)
In the Afternoon we took a “flight” with the London Eye where we had a really good view over the city.

We were totaly shocked… the 2 other classes going with us were as crazy as we… It took us a while, but finally we all set in the bus and slept until we reached Calais.
From there we took a farry boat to Dover. We visited the Greenwich Maritime and the Royal Observatory. And around 7 pm we checked into our youth hostel “Peace Heaven” in Acton.

So I thought I’m going to post it here, starting on the 4th until the 9th… :-)
